Ich bin Dr. Michelle Luckas, bin 26 Jahre alt und promovierte Mathematikerin \u2013 mit einer gro\u00dfen Leidenschaft f\u00fcrs Kochen und Backen und die Themen Fitness und gesunde Ern\u00e4hrung. Mit meinem Food-Startup peas of joy habe ich ein getreidefreies Knusperm\u00fcsli aus roten Linsen entwickelt, das eine tolle pflanzliche Proteinquelle f\u00fcrs Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck oder als s\u00fc\u00dfe Zwischenmahlzeit darstellt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Wie ist die Idee zu <\/strong>peas of joy<\/strong> entstanden?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Da ich mich selbst \u00fcberwiegend pflanzlich ern\u00e4hre, ist es mir im Alltag oft schwergefallen, gen\u00fcgend Proteine zu mir zu nehmen. Das lag vor allem daran, dass die wichtigste pflanzliche Proteinquelle \u2013 die H\u00fclsenfr\u00fcchte \u2013 hierzulande so selten in unserer Ern\u00e4hrung vertreten ist. Deshalb habe ich angefangen, H\u00fclsenfr\u00fcchte wie Linsen, Kidneybohnen oder Kichererbsen auch mal ins Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck oder in s\u00fc\u00dfe Snacks zu intergieren und die Rezepte auf meinem kleinen Foodblog auf Instagram zu posten. Dort kamen die neuen Kombinationsm\u00f6glichkeiten super an und ich habe gemerkt, dass ich nicht die Einzige bin, die sich neue M\u00f6glichkeiten w\u00fcnscht, um H\u00fclsenfr\u00fcchte in die t\u00e4gliche Ern\u00e4hrung zu integrieren. So entstand die Idee zu peas of joy.

Welche Vision steckt hinter <\/strong>peas of joy<\/strong>?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

W\u00e4hrend wir Getreide mehrmals t\u00e4glich sowohl in s\u00fc\u00dfen als auch in herzhaften Gerichten zu uns nehmen, werden H\u00fclsenfr\u00fcchte<\/a> ausschlie\u00dflich herzhaft kombiniert \u2013 z.B. in Eint\u00f6pfen, Bratlingen oder Salaten. Mit peas of joy m\u00f6chte ich Linsen, Bohnen, Erbsen und Co. auf eine neue s\u00fc\u00dfe Art und Weise kombinieren und so v\u00f6llig neue M\u00f6glichkeiten schaffen, wie wir im Alltag mehr H\u00fclsenfr\u00fcchte und damit mehr pflanzliche Proteine in unsere Ern\u00e4hrung integrieren k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wer ist die Zielgruppe von <\/strong>peas of joy<\/strong>?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peas of joy ist f\u00fcr alle gedacht, die sich bewusst ern\u00e4hren, ihren Proteinbedarf im Alltag decken m\u00f6chten und\/oder wenig tierische Produkte konsumieren. Aber auch f\u00fcr Menschen mit einer Glutenunvertr\u00e4glichkeit stellt das Linsen-Granola eine tolle getreide- und glutenfreie Alternative zu herk\u00f6mmlichen M\u00fcslis und Fr\u00fchst\u00fccksprodukten dar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wie sind Sie auf die Idee gekommen sich f\u00fcr die Sendung \u201eDie H\u00f6hle der L\u00f6wen\u201d zu bewerben?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seit der ersten Staffel bin ich gro\u00dfer Fan von \u201eDie H\u00f6hle der L\u00f6wen\u201c. Daher war f\u00fcr mich schnell klar, dass ich mich mit meinem Startup auch irgendwann dort bewerben m\u00f6chte. Kurz nach dem Launch meines Linsen-Granolas fand zuf\u00e4lligerweise einer der Pitchcalls statt, bei dem man vor dem DHDL-Castingteam pitchen konnte. Daf\u00fcr hatte ich mich spontan angemeldet, dort gepitcht und es dann mit meiner Bewerbung tats\u00e4chlich in die Sendung geschafft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wie haben Sie sich auf die Sendung vorbereitet?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schon lange vor meiner Bewerbung bei DHDL habe ich jede Folge aufmerksam verfolgt und mir Notizen gemacht \u2013 z.B. zu den Zahlen anderer Startups, zu den \u00fcberzeugendsten Pitches und den Fragen der L\u00f6wen. Als ich erfahren habe, dass ich vor den L\u00f6wen pitchen darf, habe ich all meine Notizen analysiert und daraus Schl\u00fcsse gezogen, worauf ich bei meinem Pitch achten m\u00f6chte, mit welcher Bewertung ich vor die L\u00f6wen treten will und welche Zahlen ich kennen muss. Typisch Mathematikerin eben. \ud83d\ude00 Und meinen Pitch habe ich nat\u00fcrlich auch hoch und runter ge\u00fcbt, bis ich mich richtig sicher gef\u00fchlt habe.

Sie sind eines der wenigen Startup Unternehmen, dass es in die Sendung \u201eDie H\u00f6hle der L\u00f6wen\u201d geschafft hat. Wie motivierend war das f\u00fcr Sie?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das war wahnsinnig motivierend! In die Sendung eingeladen zu werden hat mir gezeigt, dass Expert:innen aus der Startup-Welt sich f\u00fcr meine Gr\u00fcndungsgeschichte und meine Idee interessieren, und das hat mich riesig gefreut und in meinem Weg best\u00e4rkt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Welchen Investor hatten Sie im Fokus?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Finde eine Gr\u00fcndungsidee, f\u00fcr die du wirklich brennst, und zeige deine Leidenschaft f\u00fcr das Thema. Damit begeisterst du auch andere.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Sprich m\u00f6glichst fr\u00fch mit verschiedenen Menschen \u00fcber deine Gr\u00fcndungsidee \u2013 mit Familie und Freunden, aber auch mit potentielle Kund:innen und anderen Gr\u00fcnder:innen. So bekommst du direkt wertvolles Feedback und hilfreiche Kontakte, die dich bei der Entwicklung deiner Idee weiterbringen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Falls du dich auch bei DHDL bewerben willst: Schau dir davor einige Pitches aus der Sendung an und mach dir Notizen zu Zahlen, den Pitches und den Fragen der L\u00f6wen. Dann bekommst du einen guten Eindruck, was wichtig ist und womit du \u00fcberzeugen kannst.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
