Ontoworks ist ein KI-Startup, gegr\u00fcndet von Se\u00e1n McFadden (Physik und Neurowissenschaft) und Kevin Berdux (Musikbusiness und Eventmanagement), um Software f\u00fcr die Videoproduktion zu entwickeln. Hierbei wird Produktionsfirmen und Medienteams die Postproduktion dadurch erleichtert, indem das manuelle Sichten und Zusammenschneiden von Videomaterial nun automatisch durch die KI geschieht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Was ist die Vision hinter Ontoworks und wie soll sich die Arbeit mit Video Content durch Ihre Technologie langfristig ver\u00e4ndern?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Langfristig ist es schon absehbar, dass die Postproduktion kaum noch komplett manuell geschehen wird. Gerade die Flei\u00dfarbeit des manuellen Durchforstens und Zusammenstellens wird es in dieser Form nicht mehr geben. Durch die zunehmende Gr\u00f6\u00dfe der Datenspeicher und der sich verbessernden KI-Technologien sieht Ontoworks sich in der Rolle, diese Zukunft f\u00fcr die Videoproduktion zu erm\u00f6glichen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wer ist Ihre zentrale Zielgruppe und warum profitieren gerade diese Nutzer besonders von automatisierter Videoanalyse und -bearbeitung?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ontoworks spricht vor allen Dingen zwei Gruppen an: interne Medienteams von Firmen und Vereinen, sowie Produktionsfirmen und Agenturen, die im Auftrag von Firmen Werbe- und Imagefilme produzieren. W\u00e4hrend der Fokus aktuell auf solchen Videoprojekten aufgrund der kurzen L\u00e4nge liegt, ist die Technologie grunds\u00e4tzlich vielseitig und soll mittelfristig auch f\u00fcr l\u00e4ngere Filmproduktionen im Fernsehen und Kino genutzt werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warum haben Sie sich entschieden, Ontoworks am 10. Februar in 2 Minuten 2 Millionen zu pitchen?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Das Team von Ontoworks wollte schon l\u00e4nger unser Gl\u00fcck versuchen, zum einen ein gr\u00f6\u00dferes Publikum zu erreichen und zum anderen das Investorennetzwerk zu erweitern. Dazu ist gerade ein Fernsehsender viel in Video und Film involviert und hat dadurch nat\u00fcrlich gute Vernetzungen in die f\u00fcr Ontoworks relevante Industrie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mit welchen Erwartungen und Zielen gehen Sie in die Sendung und gibt es bestimmte Investoren, die Sie besonders ansprechen m\u00f6chten?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Wir wollen in erster Linie Spa\u00df haben, eine gute Show liefern, und selbstverst\u00e4ndlich ein Investment sichern. Dabei sind die Investoren Christian J\u00e4ger, Evenline Steinberger und Alexander Sch\u00fctz f\u00fcr uns interessant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wie intensiv war die Vorbereitung auf den Pitch und welche Aspekte Ihres Gesch\u00e4ftsmodells waren dabei besonders herausfordernd?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Die Vorbereitung bestand haupts\u00e4chlich aus vielen \u00dcben und Coachings mit guten Freunden des Unternehmens. Das Schwierige am Pitch war die Tatsache, dass wir noch keinen Prototypen hatten und dadurch eine Live-Demo nicht m\u00f6glich war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Welche Fragen oder Reaktionen der Investoren erwarten Sie und worauf sind Sie im Studio besonders gespannt?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Wir erwarten eine lebhafte Debatte und kritische Fragen, vor allem bez\u00fcglich der Wettbewerbsf\u00e4higkeit gegen\u00fcber US-amerikanischen Firmen. Wir sind besonders gespannt darauf, wie die Atmosph\u00e4re sein wird und ob man mit den Investoren auf einen geselligen Umgang kommt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Welche Rolle w\u00fcrde ein Investment f\u00fcr die Weiterentwicklung Ihrer KI-Plattform spielen?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ein Investment w\u00fcrde unsere M\u00f6glichkeiten, besonders in Sachen Personal und Entwicklungszeitraum, enorm erweitern. Dabei sind nat\u00fcrlich die genauen Bedingungen der Finanzierung inklusive der M\u00f6glichkeiten zur Anschlussfinanzierung relevant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Was sind die n\u00e4chsten strategischen Schritte f\u00fcr Ontoworks nach der Sendung und welche Meilensteine stehen als N\u00e4chstes an?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Die n\u00e4chsten Schritte sind das Onboarding der ersten Testnutzer und Kunden und der Weg zum Markt. Geplant ist ein erster Launch zum Zeitpunkt der Ausstrahlung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Welche Tipps w\u00fcrden Sie Gr\u00fcnderinnen und Gr\u00fcndern geben, die \u00fcberlegen, mit einem technologiegetriebenen Startup in einer TV Startup Sendung aufzutreten?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Es ist wichtig, aufrichtig, kompetent und sympathisch zu sein. Jeder ist unterschiedlich weit und es spielt weniger eine Rolle, alle mit dem Unternehmen zu beeindrucken, sondern eher, dass man realistische Erwartungen hat und man wei\u00df, wo man hin m\u00f6chte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
