Ziel ist es, R\u00fcckgabeprozesse schneller, einfacher und wirtschaftlicher zu machen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-digitales-pfandsystem-fur-stadien-und-eventlocations\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Digitales Pfandsystem f\u00fcr Stadien und Eventlocations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">butterfly &amp; elephant, die Beteiligungsgesellschaft von GS1 Germany, investiert in Borro. Das Br\u00fcsseler Startup entwickelte eine patentierte digitale Pfandinfrastruktur f\u00fcr Mehrwegbecher in stark besuchten Umgebungen wie Stadien und Eventlocations. Damit sollen R\u00fcckgabeprozesse einfacher, wirtschaftlicher und f\u00fcr Besucher deutlich reibungsloser ablaufen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-borro-digitalisiert-die-ruckgabe-von-mehrwegbechern\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Borro digitalisiert die R\u00fcckgabe von Mehrwegbechern<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Digitales Pfand f\u00fcr Hochfrequenzumgebungen<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Borros L\u00f6sung nutzt einen softwarebasierten Ansatz und kombiniert 2D-Codes mit kamerabasierter R\u00fcckgabetechnologie. Am Point of Sale registriert das System jeden Mehrwegbecher \u00fcber einen unsichtbaren 2D-Code direkt beim Bezahlvorgang. Bei der R\u00fcckgabe erkennt ein intelligenter R\u00fcckgabepunkt den Becher per Kameratechnologie auch im gestapelten Zustand. Danach erfolgt die R\u00fcckerstattung automatisch innerhalb weniger Sekunden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">F\u00fcr Besucher entstehen dadurch schnellere R\u00fcckgabeprozesse ohne App und ohne lange Warteschlangen. Gleichzeitig sinken f\u00fcr Veranstaltungsorte der Personalaufwand, die Betriebskosten und das Risiko von Betrug. Dass dieser Ansatz auch bei gro\u00dfem Besucheraufkommen funktioniert, zeigt der Einsatz beim belgischen Fu\u00dfballverein Club Brugge. Dort verarbeitet das System pro Heimspiel mehr als 45.000 Becher. Zudem liegt die durchschnittliche R\u00fcckgabequote bei 93 Prozent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201eWir haben gezeigt, dass digitales Pfand sogar dort funktioniert, wo viele Menschen in kurzer Zeit bedient werden m\u00fcssen\u201c, sagt Co-Founder Glenn Verhaege, der Borro gemeinsam mit Kasper Albers und Niels Willems gegr\u00fcndet hat. \u201eDer n\u00e4chste Schritt ist, Borro \u00fcber einzelne Venues und M\u00e4rkte hinaus weiterzuentwickeln. Genau deshalb ist der Schulterschluss mit butterfly &amp; elephant f\u00fcr uns so wichtig. Sobald digitale Pfandsysteme nicht mehr nur in einzelnen Stadien oder Eventlocations laufen, sondern in gr\u00f6\u00dferen vernetzten \u00d6kosystemen, braucht es eine gemeinsame Sprache f\u00fcr den Datenaustausch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Borro setzt deshalb in der n\u00e4chsten Wachstumsphase auf GS1 Digital Link und Electronic Product Code Information Services, kurz EPCIS. GS1 Digital Link erm\u00f6glicht die eindeutige Identifikation \u00fcber digitale Touchpoints hinweg. Gleichzeitig schafft EPCIS die Grundlage, R\u00fcckgabe und Bewegungsdaten standardisiert zwischen verschiedenen Systemen auszutauschen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dadurch kann Borro seine digitale Pfandinfrastruktur \u00fcber einzelne Einsatzorte hinaus erweitern. Au\u00dferdem muss das Startup nicht f\u00fcr jeden Partner und jeden Markt eigene Datenmodelle entwickeln.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201eBorro zeigt, wie sich ein vertrauter Mechanismus in eine digitale Hochfrequenzanwendung \u00fcbersetzen l\u00e4sst.
