DELFT, Netherlands \u2014 5 May, 2026 \u2014 QuantWare, the leading industrial quantum processor company, today announced a $178 million (\u20ac152 million) Series B round following the announcement of VIO-40K\u2122, a quantum processor architecture for 10,000 qubits, 100x larger than the state of the art today. The company is building KiloFab, the world\u2019s largest dedicated quantum open architecture fab, increasing the company\u2019s production capacity by 20x to meet strong global customer demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
QuantWare is the only company that designs, fabricates, and integrates modular quantum processors on an open architecture at an industrial scale. Its proprietary VIO\u2122 technology \u2014 a modular Quantum Processor Architecture \u2014 allows the creation of the world\u2019s most powerful quantum processors that provide the most compute per Watt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Designed as an open platform that can scale the qubit chiplets and designs of third parties, VIO\u2122 unlocks the most powerful quantum processing units (QPUs) for the entire industry. The round was heavily oversubscribed and is the largest private round raised by a dedicated quantum processor company to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
