Michelle Obama will be attending the 10th anniversary edition of the Bits & Pretzels Founders Festival.
At this year’s Bits & Pretzels stage, Michelle Obama will provide insights into her journey of determination, community, and personal conviction through a moderated talk.
Drawing from her experiences as a successful lawyer, bestselling author, Grammy winner, wife, mother, and former First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama will emphasize the importance of inclusion and diversity. She aims to encourage the audience to embrace their unique strengths and overcome self-doubt.
Alongside her husband Barack, she co-founded the production company Higher Ground, which produces compelling stories that inspire, entertain, and introduce new personalities. In May of this year, Michelle Obama became a co-founder of PLEZi Nutrition, a company dedicated to providing healthy food and beverages for children. The former First Lady is a co-founder and strategic partner of this nonprofit organization, which aims to “establish higher standards for the production and marketing of food and beverages for children in the United States.”
“Every year, we ask our community which speakers they want to see next, and Michelle Obama consistently tops that list,” said Bits & Pretzels hosts Andy Bruckschlögl, Bernd Storm van’s Gravesande, and Felix Haas. “Our audience repeatedly mentions her impressive and engaging public speaking style, her leadership experience, and her commitment to diversity, inclusion, and social justice. In our opinion, all of this can provide valuable inspiration and guidance for our start-up community.”
Michelle Obama will be one of over 500 speakers sharing their knowledge and inspiring the Bits & Pretzels community this year.
